Job summary

Avanath is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance staff and vendors, ensuring quality move-ins, timely service, and strong curb appeal. You will partner with the Community Manager to deliver exceptional resident service and uphold safety and standards across the property.

The role requires supervisory experience, trade skills in plumbing/HVAC/electrical/carpentry, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while available for on-call and weekend work.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of multifamily property maintenance experience.
• One year of supervisory experience required.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, appliance repair, electrical, and carpentry work is required.
• HVAC and CPO certifications are highly desired.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Solid interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be available for on-call and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates customer service skills by treating residents and others with respect and resolving concerns with urgency.
• Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve objectives and public recognition.
• Ensure consistency, follow-up, and follow-through in dealing with residents on all matters.
• Enforce policies of the community delegated by the Community Manager.
• Assist and complete work orders, diagnose defects, and perform repairs per safety standards.
