Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a property maintenance professional to oversee and perform technical and preventive maintenance across a multifamily community in Chula Vista. You will supervise staff, handle resident service requests, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and quality standards are met in all common areas and units.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, strong customer service, and the ability to manage make-ready tasks while coordinating with vendors and the Community

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively; follow safety standards and code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep by diagnosing issues and making repairs.
• Oversees and completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant homes for leasing and move-ins.
• Develops standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Periodically inspects work by service staff to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Inspects work by contractors to verify quality and compliance with specs.
• Maintains inventory of spare parts and coordinates with the Community Manager to order supplies.
• Performs monthly preventative maintenance and supports budget for repairs.
