Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in multifamily property maintenance or related field.
• Ability to lead and supervise a maintenance team.
• Strong communication with residents, employees, and contractors.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines for property maintenance.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, courteous attitude with residents and staff.
• Assist residents with problems and requests within authority.
• Ensure curb appeal of building exteriors and common areas.
• Supervise maintenance staff and improve property appearance; address deferred maintenance.
• Ensure full-time staff adhere to scheduled hours and policies.
• Coordinate with property manager on performance and disciplinary actions.
• Present improvement project ideas and labor needs to managers.
• Complete maintenance requests and document work hours and materials used.
• Schedule contractors and oversee completed work; handle on-call duties.
