Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Facility Manager/Director to oversee daily operations of the community repair and maintenance at a single installation. You will lead a maintenance team, conduct inspections, and manage budgets and safety initiatives to deliver high-quality living environments.

Preferred candidates have five years of supervisory facilities experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency in bid management and financial oversight.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, associate degree preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred and experience in facilities management.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight for daily operations, finances and training of maintenance staff.
• Oversee regular property inspections to ensure upkeep of all assets.
• Forecast maintenance needs and manage time to meet resident expectations and project goals.
• Partner with military executives and project teams to improve maintenance initiatives.
