Job summary

Lion Real Estate Group is seeking a hands-on Service Manager to lead maintenance operations for a multifamily portfolio in Dallas. You will mentor technicians, oversee preventive maintenance, and drive turns and capital projects to sustain resident satisfaction and property performance.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, HVAC/plumbing/electrical troubleshooting, and a safety-first mindset in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Manager, Lead Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Supervisor experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance.
• EPA Certification required or ability to obtain as required by local regulations.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to develop maintenance teams.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to resident service, safety, and quality workmanship.
• Valid Driver's License and insured operable vehicle (Mileage Reimbursement offered).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all maintenance operations for a multifamily apartment community.
• Manage and develop maintenance team members to ensure high-quality service and performance.
• Coordinate and prioritize work orders, preventive maintenance programs, and emergency repairs.
• Oversee apartment turns and make-ready schedules to support occupancy goals.
• Ensure community systems, equipment, and amenities are maintained in excellent condition.
• Manage vendor relationships, inventory, and maintenance budgets.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety programs, and OSHA requirements.
• Support capital improvement projects and property inspections.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
