Job summary

Harbor Group Management Company seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead the on-site maintenance team, coordinate with vendors, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and exceptional resident service. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, make-ready inspections, inventory management, and timely response to service requests.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in multifamily property maintenance, supervisory experience, HVAC/plumbing/carpentry skills, EPA Universal or HVAC

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Expertise in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting or appliance repair.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification required where applicable.
• Proficiency in diagnosing maintenance issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and guide the maintenance team to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, appliances, carpentry, and general property maintenance.
• Respond to resident service requests and complete work orders per standards and timelines.
• Oversee make-ready process, pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, vendor scheduling, and final quality checks.
• Ensure common areas, exteriors, and grounds are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and third-party contractor work.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance and maintain inventory of supplies and parts.
• Maintain safety by conducting regular meetings and keeping MSDS sheets; comply with OSHA.
