Job summary

Harbor Group Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service multifamily properties. You will perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs, and promptly address resident service requests while ensuring safety and cleanliness of common areas.

You will also prepare vacant units, coordinate contractors, maintain amenities, and supervise vendors to ensure work meets company standards and local codes.

Qualifications

• One year of general maintenance experience including plumbing, electrical, carpentry or painting.
• HVAC certification preferred; EPA refrigerant handling certification required.
• Experience in Multifamily maintenance is highly desired.
• Must be available for emergency on-call including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license required for vehicle use on site.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and appliance repair.
• Respond to resident service requests and track repairs using work orders.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections across the property.
• Prepare vacant units, schedule contractors, and perform punch list items.
• Maintain amenity areas and common spaces with cleaning and minor repairs.
• Inspect vendor work for quality and adherence to scope.
• Assist in property inspections and uphold company safety policies.
