Job summary

Merchants Capital Corporation is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support the day-to-day asset management of a portfolio of loans. You will assist asset managers by handling loan administration tasks to help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and to monitor portfolio performance.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accurate financial transactions, and meticulous record-keeping, while collaborating with team members and vendors to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of loan portfolio management.
• Basic understanding of multifamily mortgage banking.
• Problem solving skills and initiative to troubleshoot and resolve.
• Ability to interpret and apply guidelines in managing processes.
• Strong organization and communication with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Asset Managers in day-to-day asset management of a loan portfolio.
• Provide loan administration support to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
• Deliver exemplary external and internal customer service while maintaining accurate financial transactions and records.
• Maintain timely, accurate records and reporting for portfolio performance and risk assessment.
