Job summary

You will review financials, manage extensions and modifications, ensure hedging compliance, perform risk assessments, and mentor junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years in real estate asset or portfolio management.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strategic thinking with data-driven risk management.
• Finance/real estate degree required.

Responsibilities

• Manage borrower relationships on a portfolio of multifamily loans.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of each deal to ensure loan compliance.
• Review and approve quarterly financial analyses for all deals.
• Review rehab draw requests and escrow disbursements from reserves.
• Ensure hedge-related swaps/caps compliance and disbursements.
• Perform covenants testing per loan agreements.
• Conduct credit analysis for extensions/modifications and assess risks.
• Escalate issues at Escalation Meeting and present to Credit Committee.
• Risk-rate all loans in portfolio quarterly.
• Perform site visits as necessary.
• Monitor maturities and raise concerns for timely payoff/conversion.
• Collaborate with Loan Origination on permanent refinancing strategy.
• Coordinate with borrowers on refinancing or default management.
• Assist Capital Markets with ad hoc requests from investors.
