Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking a Leasing Agent in Houston to drive sales and occupancy. You will greet prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit checks, prepare leases, and ensure a smooth move-in.

Responsibilities include inspecting apartments, coordinating maintenance, monitoring market conditions, implementing marketing plans, and using on-site software to track traffic and leases. You will follow up with prospects and renewals while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Two years of leasing experience in multifamily housing.
• Solid sales and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Active listening and willingness to learn.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages.
• Coordinate move-in to ensure a smooth resident experience and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and coordinate maintenance for readiness.
• Develop and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Utilize on-site property management software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Maintain show units to meet show quality standards and prep leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to finalize leases or renewals.
• Support lease renewal communications and package preparation.
