Job summary

Capstone Management is seeking a leasing agent in Texas City to greet prospects, qualify leads, conduct community tours, show apartments, process applications, run credit checks, and prepare move-in packages for a smooth lease signing.

You will inspect units, coordinate with maintenance, monitor market conditions, implement marketing plans to sustain occupancy, drive traffic through ads and referrals, use on-site software to track data, and follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction and

Qualifications

• Two years of Leasing experience in the Multifamily industry.
• Solid sales and customer service skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Active listening skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
• Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Tax Credit Experience Required

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours and show apartments.
• Process applications, credit screening, and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease and move-in packages; ensure smooth move-in and lease signing.
• Inspect apartments prior to move-in and coordinate maintenance needs.
• Stay informed about market conditions and implement short- and long-term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing activities to drive traffic (Craigslist, Facebook, email, etc.).
• Use on-site property management software to track availability and leasing activities.
• Follow up with prospects and new residents to finalize lease decisions or renewals.
• Assist with lease renewals by preparing renewal letters and packages.
• Address resident or owner concerns promptly and document requests.
