Job summary

The Franklin Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our Boulevard 45 community in Virginia Beach, VA. You will show and lease apartments to prospective residents and support the community's marketing plan, reporting to the Community Manager.

The role requires knowledge of lease terms and Fair Housing standards, strong sales and customer service skills, and the ability to manage paperwork, maintain model apartments, and respond to resident requests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing standards.
• Strong telephone and sales technique knowledge.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries and maintain professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist applicants with rental applications and collect security deposits.
• Ensure model and target apartments are ready for show and keep areas clean.
• Maintain knowledge of lease terms, policies, and current rates.
• Develop and maintain resident retention program.
• Process administrative forms and reports timely.
• Provide courteous, efficient handling of resident requests and complaints.
• Maintain professional appearance and behavior.
