Job summary

The Franklin Group in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Leasing Consultant to show and lease apartments and support the community's marketing plan.

Responsibilities include assisting applicants with rental applications, collecting deposits, and maintaining model units. You will also help implement resident retention programs and keep market surveys current, while upholding Fair Housing standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Fair Housing must be completed within 1 day of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shows and leases apartments to prospective residents and supports community's marketing plan.
• Assist applicants in completing rental applications and collect security deposits.
• Maintain model and target apartments, and keep work areas clean and orderly.
• Develop resident retention programs under the Community Manager.
• Maintain market surveys and timely administrative reports.
