Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in North Carolina is seeking a Multifamily Assistant Project Manager to oversee daily field operations for HVAC projects, ensuring on-time completion, safety, and adherence to quality standards.

You will coordinate between field crews, general contractors, office staff, and inspectors; read blueprints and mechanical plans; manage materials, workflow, inspections, and scheduling to keep projects moving smoothly while ensuring safety and code compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in multifamily HVAC installation or construction management.
• Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication with contractors, inspectors, office staff, and field crews.
• Organizational skills for managing multiple projects, materials, and timelines.
• Must be able to perform physical job duties, including lifting 50 pounds or more, climbing ladders, and working in active construction environments.
• Problem-solving ability in fast-paced construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily operations of HVAC subcontractor crews on multifamily construction projects.
• Serve as the primary point of communication between field crews, general contractors, office staff, and inspectors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical plans, and project specifications.
• Coordinate workflow to ensure installations are completed according to plans and project timelines.
• Order, track, deliver, and manage materials needed for job completion.
• Maintain inventory of job materials and ensure crews have necessary equipment and supplies.
