D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Multifamily-Field Engineer in Washington to assist the Project Manager and Superintendent on multifamily construction sites. You will oversee subcontractors, monitor safety, and ensure quality control across foundations, framing, and inspections.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1–2 years in construction, and proficiency with MS Office and construction software. It offers a solid benefits package and opportunities for travel and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of related experience or training.
• Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.
• Solid knowledge of construction management theory and practice.
• PC proficiency and knowledge of construction business software.

Responsibilities

• Review project construction documents for conflicts and potential problems.
• Walk the site to identify unsafe practices and report findings.
• Inspect foundations and verify dimensions and bracing.
• Maintain and organize project office documents per PM/Superintendent directives.
• Create, distribute and manage punch lists for rough trades.
• Ensure subcontractors complete daily reports and safety meeting minutes.
• Update construction documents with changes and addenda.
• Travel overnight as required and work overtime per project needs.
