D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Multifamily-Field Engineer for Snohomish County, WA. The role collaborates with the Project Manager and Superintendent to manage subcontractors, inspect sites, and ensure adherence to plans and safety policies.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, managing punch lists, and coordinating with City inspectors while traveling as needed. Salary range offered is $50,000–$60,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related construction experience.
• Must have a vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Review project documents for future problems and conflicts.
• Walk the site to identify unsafe practices and report them.
• Inspect foundations before concrete placement and verify details.
• Organize and track office documents per project manager/superintendent.
• Create and manage punch lists with rough trades.
• Check rough trades’ work before City inspections.
• Verify material deliveries; maintain the delivery log.
• Inspect trusses; arrange repairs and walk inspections with engineers.
• Record daily progress and ensure subcontractors submit reports.
• Maintain daily/weekly safety meeting minutes and update docs.
• Travel as required and work overtime when needed.
