The Director of Facilities at Lion Real Estate Group is responsible for maintenance performance across the portfolio, setting preventive maintenance standards, risk management, and budgets. The role supports service managers and partners with CapEx to keep communities safe, well maintained and cost-efficient.

Location options include Nashville Corporate Office or remote work in select markets; periodic travel to communities is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in multifamily or commercial facilities maintenance, including 2+ years leading multi-site teams.
• Proven experience running preventive maintenance and risk management programs.
• Experience building and managing maintenance budgets across a portfolio.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life safety and elevators.
• Knowledge of OSHA, fair housing accessibility and local code requirements.

Responsabilités

• Own the portfolio preventive maintenance program, including schedules, standards and completion tracking.
• Lead preventive maintenance and risk walks; report findings and actions to leadership.
• Identify and reduce physical, life-safety and liability risks; keep inspections and permits current.
• Build and manage maintenance budgets; monitor variances and take corrective action.
• Select, contract and manage maintenance vendors and ensure service levels.
• Partner with Procurement on national agreements and cost-saving standard parts.
• Share asset condition data with CapEx to inform capital plans and warranty handoffs.
• Support training for Service Managers and teams; develop career paths.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to hire service staff.
• Set and maintain service standards, policies and tools for consistency.
• Lead direct reports with development plans and succession planning.
