Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager for a Dallas real estate development client. You will support multifamily development from planning through completion, coordinating with general contractors, architects, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes schedules, budgets, change management and site oversight, with exposure to full project life cycle. A construction background and strong organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in construction, project management, or real estate development.
• Experience with multifamily, residential, commercial, or complex construction projects.
• Strong understanding of schedules, budgets, contracts, and project docs.
• Experience with general contractors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Work with project and development leadership throughout the construction process.
• Coordinate with general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and overall progress.
• Participate in site walks and resolve construction issues.
• Assist with budgets, cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Review change orders, invoices and project costs.
• Identify cost and schedule risks and support value-engineering.
• Maintain project documentation and meeting records.
• Coordinate action items and follow-up with stakeholders.
• Participate in owner, architect and contractor meetings.
• Collaborate with development, design, finance, legal and construction teams.
• Provide support throughout the execution of multifamily development projects.
