Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support multifamily construction projects across Texas. Reporting to senior leadership, you will help with planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors and consultants on high-profile developments.

The role emphasizes collaboration, proactive risk management, and documentation control, with travel across Texas and opportunities for fast-tracked career progression in a well-established general contractor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 2+ years of construction experience in multifamily or commercial projects.
• Experience with budgets, schedules, contracts, and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, Viewpoint, or similar platforms.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel throughout Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting activities.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Support contract administration, change orders, and procurement processes.
• Track project costs and assist with maintaining budget performance.
• Review project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specifications.
• Help monitor project schedules and identify potential risks to delivery milestones.
• Participate in site visits and stakeholder meetings to ensure successful project execution.
