Job summary

McGough Construction CO, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Dallas to assist with multi-disciplinary project management tasks. Responsibilities include supporting pursuit, preconstruction, CPM scheduling, and cost tracking while coordinating with owners, designers, and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree or four years of relevant experience in lieu of degree. Two+ years of related experience including self-perform capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships with owners, design firms and subcontractors.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; ability to work under deadlines and changing conditions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products and general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist pursuit team in understanding prospective projects and requirements; research prospective clients.
• Participate in preconstruction meetings and QA/AC page-turn sessions; support CPM scheduling.
• Assist in estimating, bid solicitations and subcontractor procurement activities.
• Support scheduling, BIM coordination, and project documentation reviews.
• Help manage cost control, change distribution and cost coding; track labor costs.
• Attend project and safety meetings; draft meeting minutes and coordination notes.
• Contribute to post-construction close-out and as-built documentation; support lean initiatives.
