Job summary

Hines is seeking an Assistant Community Manager - Multifamily to support the Community Manager in overseeing financial and operational activities at the community, including rent collections, reporting, and vendor payments. You will assist with resident relations, maintenance coordination, and owner communications.

Requirements include 2+ years in property management, basic accounting knowledge, and Entrada plus Microsoft Office proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Two or more years prior experience in property management or in a related industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Work indoors approximately 95% of the time and outdoors 5% of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Be accessible 24 hours a day in case of an emergency

Responsibilities

  • Completes daily financial transactions including rent collection, deposits, reconciliations, reports, and payables.
  • Reviews resident files and enforces lease terms to maximize revenue.
  • Handles evictions per procedures and represents the community in matter where required.
  • Reviews vendor invoices and processes payments.
  • Processes resident move-outs and lease term reviews.
  • Responds to resident inquiries and service requests to maintain satisfaction.
  • Acts as on-site supervisor in the Community Manager's absence, coordinating maintenance and make-ready tasks.
  • Supports client/owner relationships with updates and tours.
