Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support property management, resident relations, and administrative tasks at client communities. You will gain exposure to income/expense management and facilities oversight while working flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

The role emphasizes field activities, budget preparation support, and ensuring high service levels for residents and clients.

Qualifications

• Two years of on-site assistant manager experience preferred.
• Strong customer service principles knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations or documents.

Responsibilities

• Acquires and maintains knowledge of state statutes and client community documents.
• Oversees field activities related to property covenants.
• Tracks and responds to resident service requests.
• Maintains resident relations and communicates with residents.
• Performs daily property inspections.
• Manages petty cash reports and submissions.
• Coordinates insurance requirements for properties and vendors.
• Assists in preparing budgets and monthly reports.
• Supports management in supervising facilities staff and projects.
