Columbia Residential is seeking a Community Service Technician in Tallahassee, FL to maintain the physical condition of a multifamily community and oversee curb appeal. The role includes making-ready units, basic repairs, and preventative maintenance across common areas, grounds, and building systems.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related experience, hands-on trade skills, and certifications such as HVAC Freon Recovery and CPO, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required for consideration; Trade School preferred.
• HVAC/Freon Recovery Certification; CPO (Certified Pool Operator).
• Valid Driver’s License and state/federal certifications as required by law.
• Experience: minimum of three years in related work; multi-skill trades helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain physical condition and appearance of the community; manage curb appeal.
• Perform make-readies, repairs, and preventative maintenance; service requests completion.
• Install major appliances; inspect and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect and maintain common areas, grounds, and building systems; report liabilities to management.
• Follow safety programs and lift safety standards; respond to emergencies during on-call shifts.
