Job summary

Woodmont Real Estate Services is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for The Pointe in Fairfield, CA. The role emphasizes maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to keep the community safe, clean, and welcoming.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, making-ready vacant units, managing supplies, documenting work, and supporting on-call coverage. A strong toolkit and hands-on approach are essential for success in a fast-paced property team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years apartment maintenance experience in multifamily properties.
• Experience with RealPage, HappyCo, Yardi or other PM systems preferred.
• Familiar with repairs for standard apartment appliances (GE, Whirlpool, HVAC, etc.).
• Own a set of hand/power tools and other basic property maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests and perform repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Complete make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Maintain inventory and supplies; notify supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Accurately document all work, service requests, and maintenance logs.
• Assist with cleaning common areas and general upkeep; support cost-control by repairing instead of replacing.
• Participate in safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety regulations.
• Inspect vendor/contractor work for quality assurance as needed.
• Assist with periodic property inspections and report needs to management.
• Respond to after-hours and weekend emergencies on a rotating on-call basis.
