Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 1 in Lehi, UT to prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and perform maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, and carpentry areas. You will work in both vacant and occupied units, ensuring timely service and attention to detail.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift heavy loads, and comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years of painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude required.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds and climb ladders.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems preferred.
• EPA certification desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall repair, trash out, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Perform basic system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC systems, appliances, etc.
• Perform detailed work with carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in common areas and work spaces.
• Promote safety and use of PPE to minimize hazards.
• Accompany vendors to vacant or occupied units and manage inventories.
