Weidner Apartment Homes seeks a Service Technician 1 to maintain occupied and vacant apartments, perform painting, drywall and general maintenance, and service resident requests in a timely manner.

You will work across electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems, support pools, and assist with preventive maintenance. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for property travel, with on-call rotation as scheduled.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years of painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude required.
• Able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds/36.3 kilograms, climb ladders and stairs.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC systems is helpful.
• EPA certification desired.

Responsabilités

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy: painting, drywall repair, trash out, mechanical, plumbing, electrical repairs.
• Perform basic repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters, HVAC systems, appliances.
• Paint, carpentry and flooring related tasks; interior/exterior work as needed.
• Perform resident service requests promptly with moderate supervision.
• Maintain pools per city codes and balance chemicals; keep logs.
• Handle grounds maintenance: trash, sweeping, snow removal as applicable.
• Participate in planned property improvements and preventive maintenance.
