Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Service Technician 1 in Fitchburg, WI to prepare vacant apartments for occupancy and provide timely maintenance service to residents and the community. This role involves painting, drywall repairs, electrical and plumbing tasks, and general upkeep for occupied and vacant units.

You will work independently and as part of a team, using company apps and a personal vehicle to move between properties.

Qualifications

• 1+ years maintenance experience required.
• 1+ years of painting and drywall repairs preferred.
• Solid mechanical aptitude required.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry and HVAC systems is helpful.
• EPA certification desired.

Responsabilités

• Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy including painting, drywall repair and basic systems work.
• Perform basic system repairs on electrical, plumbing, hot water heaters and HVAC systems.
• Perform carpentry, drywall repairs and interior/exterior painting as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance tasks and maintain logs.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and use a company phone and apps.
