Job summary

Kap Project Services in Corpus Christi, TX seeks a qualified Project Engineer/Coordinator for a long-term contract. The role requires coordinating mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and structural disciplines and leading field walks with stakeholders.

You will apply Stage Gate practices, manage MOC, cost tracking, and scheduling (Primavera P6 or MS Project). Strong writing and communication are essential, with exposure to operating plants and field-execution support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• TWIC credential required.
• PE/EIT, PMP/CAPM and OSHA 10 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Stage Gate process, P&IDs and process systems.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams in field and office.
• MOC, cost tracking, and schedule tracking experience.
• Ability to lead meetings and conduct field walks.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, and Structural.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders and perform field walks.
• Oversee Stage Gate process and MOC activities.
• Develop scope, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Provide field execution support and coordinate contractors.
• Review P&IDs and process system knowledge.
