Job summary

Kent is seeking a Lead Project Engineer based in Corpus Christi, TX to lead all technical aspects of engineering projects within our project management team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Typically 15+ years of progressive engineering and project delivery experience in refining, petrochemical, gas processing, chemicals, or related process industry.
• Typically 10+ years in project engineering roles with leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven accountability for engineering execution across multiple disciplines and project phases.
• Strong working knowledge of EPC/EPCM delivery, governance, change control, project controls, contracting interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Act as the accountable engineering delivery lead for major projects and coordinate a portfolio of concurrent projects.
• Lead and integrate multidisciplinary engineering teams and provide clear direction on priorities and interfaces.
• Serve as the principal engineering interface with the Project/Program Manager, client leadership, operations, and vendors/contractors.
• Own the overall technical integrity and integration of the project design across scope, safety, quality, operability, schedule and cost.
• Approve execution plans, delivery plans, key decisions, and major interfaces within delegated authority.
