Job summary

H-E-B is seeking a Cross-Functional Representative in Texas to provide general customer service, perform front-end checks, and collaborate across packaging, stocking, rotation, production, and sanitation duties.

You will deliver friendly service, answer product questions, assist with ordering and product selection, and flex across multiple departments while maintaining store SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent
• 6+ months of experience in H-E-B Store operations
• Knowledge of computer systems (Symbol, ACR, label machine)
• Customer service and interpersonal skills
• Verbal / written communication and reading skills
• Ability to adapt to performing a wide range of duties across multiple departments
• Ability to work autonomously

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about products and services
• Use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and increase store sales
• Work across multiple departments including packaging, stocking, rotation, production and sanitation
• Perform stocking, rotation, inventory and display duties across total store
• Maintain compliance with store SOPs and safety policies
• Possess flexible scheduling to accommodate varying department shifts
