Job summary

Butterball, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide mechanical support in its food-processing environment. You will perform electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs, troubleshoot equipment, and execute preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally an Industrial Maintenance certificate. You will work across multiple plant areas, follow safety rules, and train others when needed.

Qualifications

2 years of previous experience in at least one maintenance discipline.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs a wide range of complex tasks involving electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and fabrication of repair parts to keep equipment and processes operating.
Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using diagnostic tools (ladder logic, volt meters, etc.).
Performs preventive maintenance tasks including lubrication and blade changes.
Tears down and reassembles equipment for food safety initiatives.
Supports and trains others in preventive maintenance tasks.
