Job summary

Butterball is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform a mix of skilled and unskilled tasks across landscaping, janitorial work, and general construction. The role supports safety, cleanliness, and operability of Butterball facilities and equipment.

The multi-craft position requires learning varied equipment needs, using tools, troubleshooting, and following diagrams while maintaining records and daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in at least one discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Industrial maintenance certificate/diploma strongly preferred.
• Follow diagrams, operation manuals, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Communicate with all levels and read written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Good communication.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and skilled landscaping.
• Perform general and skilled janitorial functions.
• Perform general and skilled construction trade functions.
• Coordinate general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles.
• Paint, remodel, refurbish areas as needed.
• Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials.
• Change light bulbs, interior and exterior, as needed.
• Maintain exterior property, including snow removal and de-icing.
• Make repairs and alterations to building interior and exterior; perform day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Ensure facilities are safe and clean; assemble, repair, maintain and move furniture.
• Work in a multi-craft role, learning and staying current with equipment needs.
