Job summary

Butterball Facilities Maintenance Technicians perform a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to keep production facilities and grounds safe, clean and operable. The role spans multi-craft duties, requiring the ability to learn plant equipment and use hand and power tools in a fast-paced environment.

They work individually or in teams, follow safety and food safety regulations, and complete timekeeping and paperwork accurately while supporting Butterball’s goals and culture in NC facilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in at least one maintenance discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Industrial Maintenance Certificate/Diploma is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and skilled maintenance and repair work across facilities and grounds.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment; troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain vehicles and shop equipment.
• Ensure facilities are safe, clean, and operable; complete required paperwork.
• Work independently or in teams; follow safety and food safety regulations.
