Job summary

Butterball is seeking a maintenance technician to provide mechanical support across electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and fabrication in a food processing environment. The role supports plant equipment uptime and safety standards at our Missouri facility, with opportunities to learn and grow within a multi-craft team.

The ideal candidate has maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to work with diagnostic tools and perform preventive maintenance while training

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance experience in at least one discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks including electrical, hydraulics, welding and fabrication.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubricate wear points.
• Teardown and reassemble equipment to support food safety initiatives.
• Train and support operators and IMTs in maintenance tasks.
• Interpret specifications, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Suggest process changes to improve uptime and reliability.
• Maintain safety and food safety compliance.
• Accurate time tracking and paperwork.
