Job summary

Butterball is seeking a mechanically skilled IMT to provide support across equipment in our NC manufacturing facilities. You will perform multi-craft maintenance including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication work to keep our production lines running at peak efficiency.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in maintenance, a high school diploma, and a maintenance-related certificate; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of previous experience working in at least one maintenance discipline.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding and fabrication tasks to keep equipment and processes operating.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using diagnostic tools.
• Performs preventive maintenance tasks and lubricates wear points.
• Tears down and reassembles equipment for food safety initiatives.
• Trains and supports other IMTs and Production staff in maintenance tasks.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, schematics and work orders.
