Job summary

Butterball is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Maintenance Tech to support our NC manufacturing operations. The role covers electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, welding, and fabrication tasks to keep equipment and processes running at peak efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in maintenance, a related diploma or certificate, and strong diagnostic skills. This on-site role offers growth within a leading food processing company with safety as a core value.

Qualifications

2 years of maintenance experience in at least one discipline.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Certificate/Diploma in Industrial Maintenance or similar area strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoots and repairs equipment using diagnostic tools.
Performs preventive maintenance and lubricates wear points.
Disassembles/reassembles equipment to support safety and uptime.
Interprets specifications, blueprints and work orders.
Trains IMTs, operators and production staff in preventive maintenance.
Identifies process changes to increase equipment uptime while maintaining optimal operation.
Adheres to Butterball policies and safety regulations.
Maintains accurate time, parts, and paperwork records.
