Job summary

Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services in New Jersey is seeking a Plaza Director to lead a multi-million-dollar travel plaza along a major highway, ensuring fast, friendly service and sustainable profitability.

You will manage day-to-day operations, develop leaders, uphold brand standards, control costs, and collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in multi-unit or big-box leadership.
• On-site schedule about 50 hours/week including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Ability to stand/walk long periods; lift up to 20 pounds.
• Occasional travel to support other locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plaza operations to meet sales, speed, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Monitor financial performance and implement changes to maximize profitability.
• Ensure all food/beverage concepts meet brand standards.
• Develop and retain high-performing teams through coaching and training.
• Oversee hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions for plaza leadership.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
