Applegreen USA Welcome Centers Central Services seeks an Assistant Plaza Director to run daily operations and drive profitability at a busy travel plaza along a major highway in New Jersey. You will partner with the Plaza Director to lead a team, ensure fast, friendly service, uphold brand standards, and achieve financial targets while maintaining safety and quality.

Key duties include staffing and coaching, supervising plaza leadership, coordinating with Brand Partners and HR, and implementing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of proven success in restaurant or retail leadership.
• Flexible on-site schedule ~50 hours/week including days/nights/weekends/holidays.
• Stand/walk for extended periods; lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day plaza operations to achieve sales, service speed, and quality standards.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong teams across the plaza.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and safety requirements.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, HR, and facilities to optimize performance.
• Handle customer inquiries and maintain high guest satisfaction.
