Job summary

Noodles & Company is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the performance of 5–12 restaurants in a Virginia-based field role, with up to 75% travel. You will lead operations, local marketing, and the recruitment, development, and coaching of restaurant managers to drive sales and profits while upholding high standards.

The role requires strong leadership, multi-unit experience, and a proven ability to recruit and mentor teams across dispersed locations.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience in multi-unit restaurant management is preferred.
• Ability to recruit and develop restaurant managers.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership in delivering outstanding guest experience and restaurant operations across multiple locations.
• Plan and delegate responsibilities across the area to ensure consistent excellence.
• Lead area execution of company initiatives with regional leadership.
• Grow area sales through local marketing plans and guest-satisfaction focus.
• Review operations and reports to identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Manage area P&L, expenses, variances and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies and regulatory standards.
• Develop succession plans and lead recruiting for area leadership roles.
• Coach managers and drive performance feedback for career progression.
• Foster a positive team culture and recognize achievements.
