Job summary

Noodles & Company is seeking an Area Manager based in the Des Moines area to oversee multiple Iowa restaurants. You will lead operations, local marketing, and the recruitment, development, and coaching of restaurant managers.

This field-based role requires travel across Iowa and up to 75% of your time on the road. You will drive sales and profits while upholding high operating standards, build succession plans, and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of restaurant experience with strong single-unit performance and some multi-unit leadership.
• Ability to lead and manage others to achieve results.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills for restaurant managers.
• Experience in delegation, accountability, and cross-group communication.
• Experience hiring and staffing, and managing a multilingual staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership in delivering outstanding guest experience, culinary operations, labor scheduling, inventory management, restaurant marketing and P&L.
• Plan and delegate responsibilities across the area to ensure consistent operations.
• Lead implementation of company initiatives with Regional Directors and Support Team.
• Develop area sales growth through local marketing plans and guest experience initiatives.
• Review area operations and reports to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage area P&L by tracking expenses and variances, taking corrective action.
