Job summary

Sonic in Texas is seeking an Area Supervisor to manage the total operation of multiple restaurants. You will supervise management, conduct visits, and coach managers to ensure consistent performance across locations.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, analytical skills for P&L data, and support for local marketing efforts. A fast-paced, high-volume environment requires dedication and excellent team leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Willing to work a 55-hour work week, including evenings and weekends.
• 4+ years of management experience or a college degree required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee total operation of multiple restaurants.
• Supervise restaurant management and conduct meetings and store visits to ensure direction is implemented properly and all restaurants operate consistently.
• Lead and counsel Restaurant Managers on decision making and problem solving.
• Perform store reviews and unannounced visits to evaluate service quality, friendliness, cleanliness, and operations.
• Conduct performance reviews and safety audits; manage cash handling to ensure a secure environment.
• Analyze daily/weekly/period-end sales and cost data; review P&L statements and set improvement goals.
• Assist Restaurant Managers in executing local store marketing.
