Job summary

Wendy's is seeking a District Manager to oversee multiple restaurants, guide operations, develop management teams, and uphold company standards. This role emphasizes sales performance, staff retention, and leadership across units to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include enforcing policies, training managers, and driving profitability while maintaining safety and service excellence across the district.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent in operations.
• Four years of restaurant experience minimum.
• Experience in supervising and managing staff.
• Fluent English speaking and writing skills.
• Exhibit sense of urgency.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Ability to lift 35 pounds to waist level.
• Guest-friendly demeanor.
• Willingness to assume around-the-clock responsibility for restaurant operations.
• Willingness to work 50+ hours per week (all shifts).
• ServSafe Certified.
• Financial reporting and/or P&L experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and reinforce food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with leadership from multiple units to meet district sales goals.
• Execute company policies and procedures.
• Manage and oversee safe working conditions.
• Oversee unit managerial staff to maximize staff retention.
• Interview and suggest General Manager hires.
• Provide proper training for managerial staff.
• Anticipate and identify problems and initiate corrective action.
• Maintain fast, accurate service and provide excellent customer service to every guest.
• Ensure continual improvement of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
• Maximize store sales goals versus budget, including participation in marketing programs.
