Job summary

Dufry Careers is seeking a General Manager I to lead a QSR restaurant or a cluster of nearby locations near Minneapolis Airport F&B. You will ensure the unit is clean, staffed, and open for business while meeting high operational and financial standards.

The GM makes strategic leadership decisions and drives overall restaurant success. The role requires 5–7 years in restaurant operations with P&L responsibility and a background in HMSHost-like operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• 5–7 years of overall restaurant operations experience.
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for some experience.
• Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand brand standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Open and close: ensure closing/opening checklists and readiness.
• Staffing/deployment: schedule shifts and manage hiring decisions; foster engagement.
• Product availability/working equipment: oversee orders, supplier contacts, and equipment maintenance.
• Brand knowledge: maintain awareness of brand standards and drive revenue through programs.
• Visual/vibe: lead daily operations and resolve issues; coach staff.
• Safety: ensure compliance with health and safety standards and training.
