Job summary

Canteen is hiring a District Manager to oversee daily operations for Vending, Office Coffee, and Ave. C service lines, including Customer Service, Technical Operations, and Warehouse Management.

The role partners with the Regional Director to drive profitability, service excellence, and efficiency while delivering outstanding customer satisfaction. The DM will lead cross-functional teams, optimize resources, and ensure operational execution aligns with company goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5–7 years of vendor or operations management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
• Multi-unit management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational functions across customer service, warehouse, and technical service teams.
• Manage P&L performance in partnership with the Regional Director, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and align operations with strategic goals.
• Oversee labor planning and staffing to match business volume and productivity standards.
• Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and retention, responding to client needs and growth opportunities.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement across departments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to ensure operational excellence.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
