Brown Bag Sandwich Co. in NYC is seeking a hands-on Multi-Unit Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across two current locations and guide the development of staffing models for a planned third site.

You will enforce operational standards, owning DOH readiness, training, and hospitality execution while collaborating with the founder to scale systems, menus, and vendor relations. This role is rooted in growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years in restaurant ops with multi-unit oversight.
• Experience building scalable systems and standards across locations.
• Proven ability to hire, train, and develop location-level staff.
• Strong knowledge of NYC DOH compliance and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead location-level managers to uphold brand standards across sites.
• Develop staffing models, onboarding, training, and scheduling to support growth.
• Oversee operating standards, quality control, and customer hospitality across locations.
• Manage labor and food cost targets with kitchen managers.
• Oversee vendor relationships and company-wide purchasing standards.
• Partner with founder on new location openings and scaling initiatives.
