Job summary

marcjaxllc is seeking an Area Coach to oversee a 4+ unit Taco Bell portfolio in the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. This role requires active, in-restaurant leadership with a strong focus on coaching General Managers, driving EBITDA, and ensuring brand standards across all stores.

You will report to the Market Coach, own store-level P&L outcomes, and develop a leadership bench for succession. A growth-minded, hands-on leader with a track record of developing talent will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of multi-unit QSR leadership with full P&L accountability.
• Proven track record in developing and promoting talent across multiple locations.
• Hands-on leadership style with on-floor coaching and shift involvement.
• Strong knowledge of P&L drivers, controllable costs, and EBITDA improvement.
• Experience with Taco Bell leadership is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: drive sales, manage labor and food costs, maximize EBITDA.
• In-restaurant leadership: spend time on the floor coaching GMs and managers.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on, growth-mindedArea Coachto oversee a multi-unit span of Taco Bell restaurants in the Norfolk / Virginia Beach area. Reporting to the Market Coach, you will directly own store-level P&L outcomes, drive operational execution, and build a strong leadership bench across your stores. This is an active, in-restaurant leadership role designed for someone who thrives on the store floor coaching General Managers, walking shifts, and elevating speed and guest satisfaction.

• P&L Ownership:Drive top-line sales, manage labor and food costs, maximize store-level EBITDA, and convert period flashes into immediate operational actions.PDF

What You Bring

• Experience:5+ years of multi-unit QSR leadership managing a span of 4 or more locations with full P&L accountability.
  
• Brand Expertise:Taco Bell leadership experience is strongly preferred.
  
• Hands-on Approach:A proven leadership style focused on personal relationships, active shift walks, and ground-level involvement rather than managing from a distance.
  
• Track Record:Demonstrated history of developing and promoting talent, supported by a stable employment history.
  
• Financial Acumen:Strong command of period-end P&Ls, controllable expenses, food and labor metrics, and store EBITDA.
  
• Base Salary:$85,000 – $95,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
