Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. seeks a District Manager to lead several stores, driving sales growth and profitability while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role requires deep knowledge of operations, staff development, and financial acumen to guide General Managers and Core 4 staff.

The District Manager will visit locations, implement action plans, and coach teams to achieve targets. Strong communication and leadership are essential in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of store operations and processes.
• ASE P2 certified or ASE ready equivalent.
• Ability to recruit, select, hire and develop General Managers and Core 4 positions.
• Accountability, coaching & feedback skills.
• Ability to execute and train all store operational processes and standards.
• Ability to use testing/diagnostic equipment for DIY services.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed district total sales and profitability goals.
• Ensure commercial customer retention & relationship growth in the market.
• Staffing, coaching and development of General Managers and Core 4 team members.
• Ensure proper staffing levels and execution of inventory/operational standards.
• Conduct regular store visits with action plans to reach market potential.
• Review profit and loss statements with GMs to teach business acumen.
• Communicate effectively with stores and support staff.
• Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment.
