Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in the Baton Rouge area seeks a District Manager to lead multiple stores, driving growth in Retail and Commercial sectors while upholding integrity.

You will recruit, coach, and develop General Managers, manage staffing levels, and ensure inventory and operational standards across the district, delivering profitability with strong financial acumen and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience managing a team of 10-20 General Managers.
• Proven track record meeting sales and gross margin targets.
• Experience managing profitability; strong business acumen.
• Ability to recruit, hire and develop General Managers and Core 4 positions.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Achieve or exceed district total sales and profitability goals.
• Ensure commercial customer retention & relationship growth in the market.
• Staffing, development, goal setting, performance mgmt., coaching & retention of GMs and Core 4.
• Conduct regular store visits with action plans to reach market potential.
• Review P&L statements with GMs to teach business acumen.
• Communicate effectively with stores and support staff.
