Job summary

Doe Bay Resort & Retreat is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep the property running smoothly and safely. This hands-on role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks across the facilities and guest areas.

You’ll plan and execute projects, support preventive maintenance, source materials, and contribute to design discussions while mentoring junior staff. A dynamic environment with guest interaction and growth potential awaits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry/general facilities.
• Plan and execute maintenance projects from start to finish.
• Support and carry out preventive maintenance programs.
• Source materials and assist with project completion.
• Provide technical input on project planning and design.
• Mentor and support less‑experienced maintenance staff.
• Make recommendations to support the department manager.
• Interact professionally with guests when maintenance issues arise.
