Job summary

Doe Bay Resort & Retreat is seeking a Skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep the property running smoothly and safely. This hands-on role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry tasks across the facilities and guest areas.

You’ll plan and execute projects, support preventive maintenance, source materials, and contribute to design discussions while mentoring junior staff. A dynamic environment with guest interaction and growth potential awaits.

About the Role - We’re looking for a Skilled Maintenance Technician to help keep our property running smoothly and safely. This is a hands‑on, working position ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality work, and is comfortable across multiple trades.

What You’ll Do

Perform maintenance and repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry/general facilities

• Support and carry out preventive maintenance programs
• Source materials and assist with project completion

What This Role Is Not

This position does not currently include:

• Hiring or HR oversight
• Contractor coordination or supervision
• Setting department priorities
• Tracking department performance or metrics

That said, the right candidate may grow into a larger leadership or managerial role over time.
